About Creekside

Your Story Matters. Your Relationships Matter. You Matter.

My name is Brittney Avaritt, and I’m the therapist behind Creekside Family Therapy. I specialize in helping individuals and families heal from stress, trauma, relational hurt, and overwhelm. As someone who understands the complexities of family life, neurodivergence, and rebuilding from difficult experiences, I bring not only clinical training but deep compassion to every session.

My Approach

  • Warm, grounded, and collaborative

  • Family systems–oriented

  • Trauma-informed and EMDR-trained

  • Neurodivergent-affirming and Certified AutPlay Provider

  • Attachment-focused

  • Mindfulness-based interventions

Therapy with me is a partnership. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. Instead, I focus on understanding your story, your strengths, and your values so that together we can create meaningful, long-lasting change.
